I think this means that reaching your dream is not others opinion, your choice its what you want.For example, if your parents tell get this career it's better for you and you don't have to take that career if you don't want to it's your choice.Another example, is that if some people wants you to do something that you don't have to do it because it's your choice to do something you want to do.
