I think what this quote is trying to is that choose the right by being cooperative, caring, friendly, humble, kind, respectful, grateful, hard-working, loyal, etc. good things will happens because  people will see you how your are and not seeing you in a different person. Also never give up on your goal because if you work harder you will reach you goal.
